BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ BASKETBALL 2020/2021 SEASON
BO YS’ AND GIRLS’ BASKETBALL 2020/2021 SEASON
The School participated in five summer sports over the course of the 2020/2021 ISA season,
with multiple teams signing on for Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Basketball, Touch Football, and Cricket.
Two girls’ teams were in contention for Premierships, with our Girls’ Open C team up against
St Andrews’ Cathedral School in their final round match up. St Andrews’ were a confident outfit
and certainly put our girls to the test. The girls should be proud of their efforts as they fought
hard throughout the match, against the top team in the competition. Our girls walked away as
competition Runners-Up.
GIRLS’ JUNIOR B
Meanwhile, the Girls’ Junior B had
a slow start in their game against
Redlands, with the lead changing
hands several times throughout the
first half. After halftime, the team
came out focused and broke away,
holding onto the lead to finish the
game as undefeated Premiers.

We also had four Boys’ teams play
Grand Final matches at Penrith Valley
Regional Sports Centre. The Boys’
First V and 14s Blue teams played
well in patches but ultimately could
not overcome St Stanislaus College
and Oakhill College respectively.
BOYS’ U13 BLUE
The 13s Blue team showed grit and
determination throughout their game
against Oakhill College, overcoming
early deficits to be within striking
distance in the final minutes. The
game finished with a nail-biting last
30 seconds, where Oakhill claimed a
1-point lead, which they held to the
final buzzer.

BOYS’ U15 BLUE
The Boys’ 15s Blue played Oakhill
College, a team they played the
previous week. It was set up as a high
intensity game, and our boys were up
to the challenge. The team played a
controlled game, working as a team
on defence to ensure they held on to
an early lead. The boys finished the
game as undefeated Premiers.
