                                            ood is the basic human need and is pres-
                                      F ent in all areas of life. We often eat food
                                       without thinking about where it comes from,
                                       how it is prepared, what we do with it.


                                       Our eating habits adapt to changes in society.
                                       What was common 100 years ago, such as reg-
                                       ular meals with the whole family at the table,
                                       four-course menus, carefully and time-con-
                                       suming dishes, often plays a lesser role in
                                       modern families.
