MH: Where does your influence come from?

CL: Learning these life lessons have been my biggest influence so far.

MH: Do you have anyone that you consider your mentor? How has their help or advice shaped you?

CL: I don’t know if I would say mentor, but not growing up with my pops taught me to learn something from
every person I encountered. From drug dealers, to people who worked 9 to 5s, to homeless people. I would
always find something and apply to my life. One of biggest life lessons came from a black homeless man
about friends, I'll never forget it.

MH: How does your creative process work?

CL: It happens at any moment, LOL. I can be asleep, and something will wake me up and I’ll have to get it
out. Even if it’s me getting up just to write it down. It can happen in the middle of a conversation with a
person. I hate that it happens…I feel rude. People probably think I’m weird when it happens too, LOL. I can
see it in their faces. One minute, I’m engaged. Next, I’m staring into space. LOL!

MH: How long have you been making music now as Cash Lansky?

CL: I started taking music seriously in 2004. That’s when I knew what I wanted to do with my life.

MH: What is one experience in life that, without it, you wouldn’t be the artist you are today?

CL: The passing of my best friend, Sir Ronald, in ‘07. That shit changed me forever. He’s really the first person
to believe in me. Shit, he believed in me more than I did myself. Yeah, that was the shift.

MH: Who are your top 3 favorite bands/artist/performers of all time?

CL: Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, James Brown.

MH: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Share a bit about your vision.

CL: I remember when my best friend passed away. I promised myself I would never plan that far ahead
because I was so lost after he was gone. We were on a mission to take over the world, one day at a time. But
sitting here reading this question made me think about it. In 5 years, I would like to be living off of my music,
not clocking in at my job…healthy, touring the world. Show my kids places I could never imagine when I was
their age. Smoke a lot of weed and eat good food. LOL, I’m a simple man!

MH: If you could take anyone in the world, dead or alive, on a date, who would it be?

CL: I would have to take my beautiful wife, off tops!

MH: Tell me about the first song you ever made. Was it a success or a failure in your opinion?

CL: It was with my homie at the time. I can’t remember the lyrics or the name of the song, but I def know it
was straight trash, ha, ha! But, it got me here so I’m ok with that.
