JC: We have had our discussions -- or I could say ‘battles’ internally. We kind of flip-flopped. We
have a couple of members that want to release just singles to get music out there faster, and then
there’s some of us that kind of hold the album concept post-hard. I think in the future you're going
to see a little bit of compromise where we probably will put up some singles. The thing that is
difficult for us is that, for us to promote individual singles, it's really difficult. Whereas if you put an
album out, we can promote the album, and then there's a bunch of songs that radio stations can
pick from and choose to play. When we interact with radio stations, we send the whole album of
EP out, and then the radio stations gravitate to the songs that they like. I do make suggestions
on which songs I believe are a fit for radio and they can listen or choose to pick other songs, but
it's much easier from a marketing standpoint for an indie band like us to put a campaign together
for an album rather than develop individual campaigns. If I had to do twelve campaigns a year for
twelve singles, it would be very time-consuming, and we don't have the staff to do that really. So,
that's why in our case, albums and EPs just seem to work better from a logistical standpoint.
TB: You have the EP and the album that both came out in 2023. As we start heading into
2025, what can the fans of Sonic X look forward to?
