Both Allard and Reese’s families come from
musical backgrounds. They stated they were
fortunate not just to have the exposure to
music at a young age, but also, the support of
their families. Reese admitted there is also a
fear that exists when going into a business that
is as creative as music. Reese said, “I’m lucky to
have my family’s past experiences to draw on.
I saw the path they took and things that didn’t
work out for them. So, I hoped if I did things
differently, then maybe I would be alright.”
Allard agreed that his family worked hard to be
successful. “Our parents have an awesome
perspective. They were so selfless. It makes me
want to succeed more because they sacrificed
things for me so I could make music.”
