As their bio states, Silversel hails from “the rich cotton fields INTERVIEW
of South Georgia,” a region known for its vibrant scenery and

equally colorful history. I’ve had the pleasure of catching
these skillful musicians in their “native habitat” on more than Interview by Kiki Plesha
one memorable occasion. I can attest to the fact that once Studio Images by C. Geni Photography
you attend a Silversel show, it’s not something you’ll soon Live Photography c/o Silversel
forget. They leave an impression.

I recently caught up with front man Wally Silver, which for me, was very much like talking with
an old friend. “Preach,” which is the nickname that his bandmates have bestowed on Wally,
graciously agreed to sit down with me and provide the readers of ION Indie Magazine an
update on what this talented band has been up to since 2015. Here is that interview…
