A trip to the dentist to have a tooth pulled is definitely equal to the pain of

negotiating traffic in Atlanta, Georgia, but when it means covering Static-X,
Sevendust, and Dope, you load up and suffer through!

I was over-excited to hit the road from Chattanooga for the 2-hour-plus

journey to the show. I loaded up my music player with music from all three
bands, cranked the volume to ten, hit start on the GPS, and began the
               adventure!

The show was being held at the famous

Tabernacle. I had never shot there and
was looking forward to taking in the
beauty and history of the venue. The
Tabernacle was built as a church in 1910,

               with colorful stained-glass windows, three
               stories of balconies, and amazing

               architecture. The Olympic Committee
transformed the building in 1976 as a
musical venue for the ‘76 Olympics. It was
later purchased by Live Nation and has

remained an Iconic concert destination. It
has hosted names such as Guns N
Roses, Bob Dylan, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

The drive was awesome. My stereo took
me back to the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

I had been a motocross racer and many of
the dirt bike videos and games I played
and watched had included these bands on

their soundtracks. I found parking near the
venue way too easy and was ready to
               high-five everyone -- until I discovered
that the $30 I parted with for my “sweet”

spot was given to a fake lot attendant!!
Lesson learned. No tears were shed
               though, I had arrived!!
