Some of their musical influences are the early 2000’s pop-punk bands like Blink-182, New
Found Glory, and Fat Wreck Chords’ bands. 2005-2007, emo bands were also included.
Another genre that helped elevate the chemistry among members was EDM (which was
introduced by Jeff).
All three members are all in the medical profession and are registered nurses by day but
continue to have a blast playing live shows under Cali Vibes Records/Clothing roster. The
band’s goal is to write new music, and with Jeff being in the band for a year now, he has
brought a whole new life and sound to their family. Their main focus moving forward is for
the three of them to explore the writing and recording process as a unit.
There may be a new song or two released by the end of this year. Watch for it, because The
Allright will definitely be around!
I asked the members of the band to share any advice they have for new upcoming bands.
Johnny: “Don’t force anything.”
Jamey: “Be honest and organized toward your intentions. Embrace the nature of change.
Above all, love your art. It’ll matter to someone.”
Jeff: “Remember that a band is a unit and a family. Younger bands/musicians tend to only
want things their way or only want their moment to shine. You won't get there if you're only
thinking of yourself, so communicate, be open to give and receive feedback/constructive
criticism, and just chill. **peace sign**”
