CW: For me, it was not to overthink the lyrical content. If you feel it needs saying, say it! I think with song
writers there's a tendency to keep things vague and in the mist, so it's possible to appeal to more people
and to say nothing in an artistic way. I think we've started writing now like time is running out. Lyrics you
can't misinterpret. I suppose that's a good place to build from. The song ‘When The Cold Winds Blow’ was
basically written from a personal message that Greg sent to me. It's a very emotional song. I think Greg’s
vocal on that track is phenomenal.

MW: What makes you guys unique as artists?

GC: I think that the things that we talk about in our music makes us unique. If you go back to our first album
and listen to ‘My Home Is The Horizon’ and then listen to ‘Gonna Meet With My Maker’ on this album, they
are very atmospheric and deep and maybe a little dark. Those sounds give us a certain uniqueness!

MW: What plans have you got for 2024? Any tours?

CW: Well, we've already started work on albums 3 and 4. We have shows in Portugal in February with more
shows to be announced soon. I'm very lucky to have Matt Talbot on drums and Lee Bradley on bass willing
to record at a moment’s notice. They're great musicians and make touring even more enjoyable. They have
to put up with my constant chopping and changing. They're really at the heart of what we do. We have an
honoury band member, Joel White, who is a master keys player. He adds class to everything that he's
involved with. Our musical home is Tesla Studios in Sheffield where Matthew Doxey takes care of the
recordings and makes sense of it all.
