Since the NICA landing, Indonesian
forces in Bali have been waging
guerrilla warfare. I Gusti Ngurah Rai
led the “Journey of June and July” on
May 28, 1946 to distract the Dutch.
On November 20, 1946, there was a
fierce battle in Marga, which
resulted in the death of Captain
Sugianyar. I Gusti Ngurah Rai then
