Purpose
In the execution phase, work and delivery commences in accordance with the project plan. Control and monitoring also begins in this phase and data collection should commence to enable evaluation of project performance.
Change management is particularly important in this phase, so stakeholder analysis and frequent review of the communication plan will be of key importance.
Process
• The goal of the execution phase is to support project delivery and to verify that the project is ready to go-live. The execution phase stage gate should take place before the project go-live/launch.
• The execution phase also ensures organisational readiness for the change.
   Monitor progress & remove road blocks for escalated issues
Deliver against pre-defined milestones (<60 days)
Execution
    Monitor project progress and report to CRB.
Escalate to CRB if not ahdering to pre-agreed milestones, if budget is exceeded or additional resource required.

Complete Execution Phase
       1. The project team should create a hyper-care model detailing agreements made for support beyond the norm during the project implementation.
2. On completion of the defined project milestones, the steering committee will decide whether the project can progress on to the closure phase.
