MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Growing up, I saw how apathy could destroy one’s dream and one’s learning. I did
not care about the people around me and I did not care even about myself not until I
receive the calling for teaching. If I were to have my own philosophy in teaching, I
would want to assure that the learners’ eyes will be opened with what is happening
inside their minds and what is happening in our society. I want them start caring for
themselves and for others. I believe that learners shall maximize their existence
where they are knowledgeable about their purpose. In line with that, if I were to be
a teacher, I promise to be a teacher whom they can run to whenever they feel that
they are lost, whenever they feel that they have no purpose. Moreover, if the
schools and the learners could only understand that if we just show a little
compassion where the students feel that they are being took care of then we can
make our educational system humane and at the same time productive.
