        climate adaptation policy in the Middle East and Europe before
        returning to her roots in the outdoor industry. Hodgson has BAs
        in English and German literature from California’s Humboldt State
        University and an MA in international environmental policy from
        the Monterey Institute of International Studies. When not at her
        desk in Boulder, Colo., she can be found climbing mountains and
        skiing down them.
