Pelletierine
                                                                                                      Uses

Pelletierine tannate is official in the E.P.
It is mainly used as anthelmintic drug against pork tape worms and Ascaris
The tannate form of pelletierine is used because it is less soluble in GIT, so it is

less able to be absorbed (local action).

                                                    coniine
Source: isolated from hemlock fruits ( Conium maculatum).
