• If patient takes other medications (e.g., for chronic condition) discuss possible
interactions or overlapping products.
• Advise: if no improvement within expected interval (24-48 h in mild illness) or condition
worsens → come back or see physician.
• For recurrent fevers: encourage recording pattern and advising onward investigation.
• Remind pregnant women, older adults, very young children to be especially cautious and
seek evaluation sooner.
