Morphological classification Advantages

            This system is more convenient for studying drugs with
               unclear chemical nature.

            It is very useful for identifying adulterants used.
Morphological classification Disadvantages

            It gives no idea about the biological source, chemical
               constituents and uses.

            It is difficult to classify different parts of the plant containing
               different chemical constituents.
