• The purified extract of pesticide from CC, is concentrated and
evaporated to dryness; then burned in atmosphere of
oxygen.
• The gases produced are absorbed in solution.
• Chlorine absorbed as chloride and phosphorus absorbed as
orthophosphate.
• They are determined colorimetrically.
