What does it mean?
• Clinically significant interactions refer to a
combination of therapeutic agents which have
direct consequences on the patient's condition.
• Therapeutic benefit can be obtained from certain
drug interactions, for example, a combination of
different antihypertensive drugs may be used to
improve blood pressure control or an opioid
antagonist may be use to reverse the effect of an
overdose of morphine.
