The calyx is represented by a pappus of numerous bristles each of
which is four to five ells in diameter and minutely denticulate on
the surface.
The corolla strap is orange yellow in colour shows three acute teeth
acute teeth at apex.
Gynaecium: The ovary is inferior, unilocular, and five-ribbed. The
ovary wall bears numerous pressed twin hairs, each composed of
two cells which diverge at the tips. The style is filiform terminate
with bified stigma.
