Photosynthesis, It proceeds in 2
parts:
➢The light reactions which
transform light energy into ATP
(adenosine triphosphate) and
NADPH (reduced nicotinamide
adenine dinucleotide phosphate)
➢The light-independent (dark)
reactions (Calvin cycle) which
synthesize hexoses.
