Uses of Psoralen Derivatives:
1. Furanocoumarin derivatives (psoralens) are used as photochemotherapeutic agents

    in the treatment of leukoderma (skin depigmentation, vitiligo). Psoralens are used in in
    conjunction with exposing the skin to UVB light from lamps or sunlight .
2. They are also used as photochemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of psoriasis &
    eczema.
