            This week, students will be treated to an immersive storytelling experience. Since
            its release in 2014, lylw qy Fol a classic Punjabi folktale has been shared with our

            class annually.

            A. Students will create paper-bag puppets and actively participate in the
                storytelling by repeating phrases from the book. This not only engages them
                but also aids in enhancing their oral Punjabi skills.

            B. If possible, bring a Fol to class to enhance the experience.

            C. The books may be purchased through https://folktalesofpunjab.com.
                Additionally, there is a fantastic YouTube version shared by Sikh Phulwari.
                We highly recommend watching the video and using the hand actions
                demonstrated by the storyteller, who has done a wonderful job bringing the

                story to life.

            Materials:

               3. Glue or tape the popsicle sticks to the back side of the faces.
