         Types of Water Filters

There are several types of water filters
         available for commercial coffee machines,
each designed to address specific water
quality issues. The most common types
         include:

         Activated Carbon Filters

Activated carbon filters are highly effective at
         removing chlorine, organic compounds, and
other contaminants that can affect the taste
and smell of water. These filters work by
adsorbing impurities onto the surface of the Ion Exchange
activated carbon, thus purifying the water.

Reverse Osmosis Filters Ion exchange filters are

Reverse osmosis (RO) filters use a semi- specifically designed to
                                                                                 soften hard water by
permeable membrane to remove many exchanging calcium and
impurities, including dissolved salts, heavy magnesium ions with
metals, and microorganisms. RO systems are sodium or potassium ions.

quality water, but can be more expensive and limescale buildup in coffee
         require regular maintenance.
