                   Nerot – Lighting the Candles                                                    Step:  1



            “The people
            who walked in
            darkness
            have seen a
            great Light...”
            (Isa. 9:2).




                   Leader:  We begin the Seder with the light and warmth of the Passover holiday       Since the Jewish
                   candles. The (eldest) woman of the house traditionally lights the candles no later   day begins at
