Greetings Fellow Residents,
Were you able to get out and enjoy some of the great weather we have experienced this summer? Maybe you attended a concert in Green Tree Park, sunbathed at Wilson Park Pool, hiked in the Nature Center, or purchased some fresh produce at the weekly Farmers Market. Whatever outdoor activity you chose, it certainly was a nice change from the previous months of restrictions.
From early June through early August, there were 10 new positive coronavirus cases reported in the Borough. This contrasts with 38 new cases in the previous April-June timeframe. So Borough residents are doing a great job in keeping our local positivity rate below the average rate for Allegheny County, even during the recent surge caused by the Delta variant. Keep up the good work!
