exception. They lead the top five as they did in 2016,
perhaps due to high-end models of environmentally
friendly appliances. The builder market is heavily
skewed toward luxury homes at present. SOMETHING DIFFERENT. It’s not surprising that Spanish
firm Cosentino, with its recycled product Eco, ranks at the
Bosch 21.6% top of green countertop options. Corian and Caesarstone
are serious contenders, but in our view, the overall
category is still undifferentiated in the minds of buyers.
Eco pitches its tops as uniquely different, semi-custom
products, and builds its brand on that perception.
