Dr. Tess wanted to help. “I considered psychiatry as a specialty
before I realized changing peoples’ skin can change their emotional
state,” she said. And so, she shifted her studies at Stanford Medi-
cal School to Dermatology. After becoming a Summa Cum Laude
graduate at UCSD, she and her sister began to define her dream by
leasing two rooms from her personal physician. With her sister’s cell
phone in-hand, they booked appointments and honored Dr. Tess’s
overwhelming desire to help others.

However, she didn’t just stop there. She wanted to make a differ-
ence. She wanted to change the standard approach the industry
had toward patients and expand on the technology and services
available to help those in need. She became actively involved by
becoming President of the San Diego Society for Dermatologic Sur-
gery and continues to bring forth new technologies while educating
others in her field. There really is a need for Dr. Tess. She supports
the importance of balancing technology with holistic healing and
approaches her patients with a desire to heal both the inside and the
outside of the person who has flawed skin.

Now described as America’s Favorite Dermatologist, Dr. Tess contin-
ues to expand her practice and has just opened a brand new clinic in
Miramar. She produces and hosts her own reality TV show airing on
Philippian TV, creates her own products and travels around the world

industry of Dermatology with her colleagues. One would not think
she is as experienced and accomplished as she is; for Goodness
