Meet Me Under the
Eiffel Tower
Author: Tasha Donahue
Tasha Donahue was running away from home. Tasha wasn’t the be best friend…Craigslist. It would be this medium which would
first one to do so, but at the age of 63, it was, to say the least, un- lead to some wonderful adventures, embarrassing escapades and
usual. Life had been difficult. Tasha hadn’t seen a ballet, listened truly memorable encounters with the parade of friends she met
to a concert, danced, or enjoyed a museum in way too long. She during her sabbatical from reality.
In Meet Me Under The Eiffel Tower, Tasha enchants us with the
stories of the men who came in and out of her life. Some of her
suitors had but one thing on their mind, but the majority of those
she met simply wanted to share an evening with an attractive
woman for great conversation and laughter. Only one of those
encounters would end up in the bedroom, but the time she shared
with many others were in their own way as erotic and memorable.
In this truthful and unabashed account Tasha shares the hon-
est experiences that she faced as a woman alone in Paris. Her
honesty is refreshing and her experiences keep you turning the
pages. This is a book to lay back and savor, since once started it
is hard to put down. It touches upon the true fact that age is often
not a factor when it comes to living out your dreams and taking
the time to put yourself first. Tasha is gracious enough to share
her life with us through this amazingly poignant book.
After six months, Tasha returned to the States to resume her
“normal” life. Though this wasn’t truly what happened. The time
spent in Paris had changed her for the better. As Tasha admits
at the end of her story, “Adventure is not going to knock on my
door, but I can knock on the door of adventure! I went to Paris for
me. I had to leave my reality to find myself. I put everyone else’s
problems to the wayside and concentrated unabashedly on moi. San Diego
Perhaps, you can do that from your back porch, or with a new Woman
career, hobby or a get-away weekend. You may find your Paris
within (it costs much less, too!)”
Thank you Tasha for sharing your story, and giving women
Meet Me Under the Eiffel Tower everywhere the hope that life doesn’t have to be boring, and age 43
doesn’t determine what you can accomplish.
