This is dedicated to all of the Optometry team at the La Jolla VA Hospital San Diego

Sight for Another Day and the Ayes have It

Left eye,
right eye.
Is it really I
who gives a very grateful
sigh of relief
for this wonderfully renewed
gift of sight
and thanks to the very talented and confident good Dr. Lin
and his faithful team of nurses and attendants
-without recalling them all-
I will briefly mention those that I do
Samantha , Karen, Rex ,Dr. Grande , John Flanagan
and all the rest of this dedicated group.

I can now see to both read and write as the very pleased wordsmith
that I am and of course not to forget Tammy and Charlie,
our dynamic duo in both transportation and coordination;
but the Godfather of this day
Is really our very own “VA”

and have an even better Day
