                          Our plan is to exploit the current unrest in the banking and financial services industries, a business
                          sector facing a general liquidity crisis unlike anything in the past three decades. Lending institutions,
                          builders, hedge funds and holding companies are writing off bad loans and are seeking to unload REO
                                           properties at deep discounts. These institutions traditionally have not been hold-
                                             ers of toxic real estate portfolios and this cycle is no different. They’re writing off
                                              huge losses in the billions to maintain solvency.


                                               These failures are not from excessive lending, they are purely and simply
                                               the result of faulty and in many cases virtually no underwriting and business
                                               supervision. This has resulted in a significant imbalance in the supply of cap-
                                                   ital for asset based financing since many of the traditional banks, thrifts
                                                         and savings and loan organizations are prevented by federal
                                                            and state liquidity requirements from conducting further busi-
                                                             ness. During the period of this sell-off, and the subsequent
                                                             re-capitalization of these lenders, there exists an opportu-
                                                               nity window for non-traditional lenders and investors to
                                                                 provide financing at very attractive yields and under
                                                                   the most conservative margins of safety in terms of
                                                                     loan to value. It is Azimuth’s plan to maximize this
                                                                      opportunity for its investor members.
