                                                                fruit (mainly mandarin oranges), and the seafood in-
                                                                dustries.  Northern Mie is home to a number of man-
                                                                ufacturing industries, mainly transport machinery
                                                                manufacturing.

         Kansai (Southeastern Honshu)

            The Kansai region (or the Kinki region) lies in
         the southern-central region of Japan's main island,    -Yunoyama Onsen- Famous onsen near Yokkaichi

         MIE
