Chart 4-2: Attack Dampener

         Attack Dampener is the ability to redirect or absorb oncoming attacks. Characters who learn Attack Dampener
         techniques may demonstrate the following proficiencies against targets of the same or lesser belt ranking.

          Side Step– The ability to draw energy from one (1) target when an attack is dodged successfully.

          Prerequisite: N/A

          Ki Energy    Range                                    Description/Effects
             10          3      +1 to Reaction roll, Draw 1D4 Ki Energy points from successfully defended attacks
             20          3      +1 to Reaction roll, Draw 1D6 Ki Energy points from successfully defended attacks
             30          3      +2 Reaction roll, Draw 1D8 Ki Energy points from successfully defended attacks

          Avoid– The ability to draw more energy from one (1) target when an attack is dodged successfully.

          Prerequisite: N/A

          Role Reversal– The ability to redirect energy or projectile attacks.

          Absorb– The ability to absorb all types of attacks.

          Prerequisite: Deflect
