Chart 4-5: Energy Shield
         Energy Shield is the ability to generate a protective barrier of energy around the self or other targets. Charac-
         ters who learn Energy Shield techniques may demonstrate the following proficiencies on both inanimate or
         living targets.


          Wall/Dome– The ability to create a wall or dome around self or nearby target.
          Prerequisite: N/A

          Ki Energy               Range                                     Description/Effects
              10          Target Max.= 1/3 User TR     Shield AR= 30; Shield lasts 1D6 melee rounds
              20         Target Max.= 1/2 User TR      Shield AR= 30; Shield lasts 1D8 melee rounds

              30           Target Max.= User TR        Shield AR= 30; Shield lasts 1D8+1 melee rounds
          Capture– The ability to hold one target.

          Prerequisite: N/A

          Attack Capability– The ability to form a standard class, non-projectile weapons.

          Mobile– The ability to move while generating a shield.

          Prerequisite: Detach
