12- Turn off Bunsen burners when it is not used

13- Keep your workspace free of all unnecessary

materials. Backpacks, purses, and coats should be

placed in the cubbyholes by the front door of the lab.

Place needed items on the floor near your feet, but not

in the corridor.

14- Know locations and operation procedure of all safety equipment.

15- Notify your instructor if any spills or accidents occur

16- Dispose of broken glass in the broken glass
container.
17- Disard all cultures, petri-plates, and used glassware in the

container labeled contaminated or biohazard. This container will
later be autoclaved.
