REDESIGNING THE ICONIC SURF LIFESAVING CAP
Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. This is why this group of people are in danger of excessive exposure to the sun and the lifesaving cap is in desperate need of reinvention. In fact it could be seen that the SLSC association is endangering and not fulfilling its duty of care in protecting its members. Up to now the main role of the Surf lifesaving cap is to identify the lifesaver, I want my design to fulfill the needs of the modern day lifesaver, who needs so much more.
