LEARNING OBJECTIVE
1. Understand argumentative concepts such as the definition and characteristics of
argumentative texts as a type of text that requires proof of strong and persuasive
arguments.
2. Able to compose an text with a clear structure, including an introduction, body of
the text with the main argument, and a strong conclusion.
3. Able to analyze topics, formulate clear thesis statements, and compose cohesive
and organized arguments.
4. Encourage creativity in formulating original and innovative arguments, and
developing unique points of view.
5. Encourage reflection on the writing process, self-development as a writer, and
continuous improvement in the ability to write argumentative texts.
