General Manager Development Program (GMDP) Nomination Program

This intense, year-long leadership development journey is designed to accelerate the development
of early entry GMs and pipeline leaders ready to take on GM roles. Focus areas include
Course Overview
Leadership, Talent Strategy, Business Strategy Development and Execution, and Financial and
Commercial Acumen.

• Understand your leadership style, including strengths and opportunities, and build a

development plan to help accelerate your career goals.
• Enhance your ability to assess, develop and retain top talent to meet business priorities.
Learning Outcomes
• Understand how GM’s develop and execute strategic goals to drive growth.

• Increase your knowledge of how to leverage Thermo Fisher’s scale and build your financial and
commercial acumen to achieve business goals.

New GMs and pipeline GMs who truly aspire to become a GM and are likely to become a GM within
Target Audience 12 months. Pipeline GMs must have a rating of high potential/promotable and the willingness to
relocate.

Year-long program and includes a leadership 360 assessment; coaching and mentoring; three virtual
