Get Out of the House
Since moving into households, residents at Perham Memorial are getting out more than ever before. And, they are racking up the miles on the nursing home’s only bus far faster than when it was used solely for traditional outings initiated by the Activity Department. This is another example of how smaller is often better. Now, outings are planned by small groups
of people from each household rather than by an activities director or department. One group needs the bus today, another needs it tomorrow. One little bus can accommodate small groups on multiple outings throughout the week.
