Dr. Newton’s dissertation research accepted a
challenge of Dr. George E. Walker and the Carnegie
Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching
writings of 2008 to contest the master and apprentice
approach of educational higher education and explore
andragogy and stewardship. Newton’s (2019) Steward
Facilitation Impacts on the Plexiformation of Leaders
dissertation shares how that charge of stewardship
was accepted by the University of Charleston
Leadership Program before presenting the ORGL
