Biography
Dr. Clark is a native of St. Clair, Michigan and began
her career as a radiographer and mammographer at
Port Huron Hospital. She moved to Charleston, WV
in 1986 and began her career in higher education at
the University of Charleston and moved up the career
ladder to Department Chair of Radiologic Sciences.
After teaching and administering the program for 25
years, Dr. Clark was promoted to Vice President for
Enrollment at UC and then 4 years later was made
the Executive Vice President for Admissions and
Marketing.
After eight years in an executive leadership role, Dr.
Clark missed teaching and the benefits of working
directly to advance students in their professional
knowledge and personal growth. She began her role
as associate professor in the leadership programs in
January 2020. Dr. Clark is also mom to three grown
and married children, a son and two daughters and is
blessed with five young grandsons (Luke, Jack, Cedar,
Bear, and Beckham).
