Present Simple – Review

Read the following story.

Then, circle the correct answer.

Asli is a little girl. She is eight years old. She is a

student. She (has – have) got a cat. It is called Tekir. Asli
(like – likes) Tekir very much. They (play – plays) together,

(go – goes) to school together, and even go to bed together.

Asli (live – lives) with her father and mother in a small city.

She (has – have) got a grandfather with a white beard. He

(lives – live) in a village near the city. He is a beekeeper. He

(has – have) got some hives in the garden of his house. There

are a lot of honeybees in his hives.

It is July. School (finishes – finish). Asli is on holiday.

She (goes – go) to the village to visit her grandfather. Tekir

(go – goes) with her. When they arrive at the village, the

grandfather (meet – meets) them.

In the morning, Asli (gets – get) up early and (washes –

wash) her face. There is some honey, cheese, butter, and milk

for breakfast. At that time Tekir (come – comes). He (wags –

wag) his tail and meows. He (wants – want) some milk. The

grandfather (give – gives) him some milk. Asli and her

grandfather (have – has) breakfast. And then, they (goes – go)
out because her grandfather is going to show her his bees.
