4.2.4 Data Source

This section explores the origin of the data, namely the Stroke Mortality

Dataset, Malaysia's State Mortality Dataset, and the stroke prediction
dataset, which were obtained or gathered.

i. Global Stroke Mortality Dataset

The stroke mortality dataset was acquired and derived from several

tables available from OurWorldInData.org. The tables used consist

of the Global Stroke Death Rate Dataset, the Global Hypertension
in Adults Aged 30-79 Prevalence Dataset, the Cardiovascular

Disease Dataset, the Population Growth Dataset, and the Number
of Deaths Per Year Dataset. Figure 4.15 displays a snapshot from

the Our World in Data site, including the Stroke Death Rate table
that was obtained and used for this research. The statistics were

selected because they are essential for analysing and

comprehending the many components of stroke mortality
