2.Titik Potong Grafik Terhadap Sumbu Y
Jika fungsi f(x) memotong sumbu y, maka fungsi
tersebut memotong sumbu y ketika X = 0
Contoh :
Tentukan titik potong terhadap sumbu Y dari
persamaan x² - 2x - 8 !
Jawab :
titik potong terhadap sumbu Y, maka x = 0
f(x) = x² - 2x - 8 ← ganti nilai x menjadi 0
f(x) = ( 0² ) - ( 0. x) - 8
f(x) = 0 - 0 - 8
f(x) = -8
• f(x) = y = -8
Jadi titik potong terhadap sumbu Y dari
persamaan x² - 2x - 8 adalah ( 0 , -8 )
