(Revelation, 7:11-12)
But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin,
you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you
were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have be-
come slaves to righteousness. (Romans, 6:17-18)
For in my inner being I delight in God's law [to obey God's
commandments and prohibitions]; thanks be to God... So then,
I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law... (Romans, 7:22,
25)
The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: 'God, I thank
you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulter-
ers—or even like this tax collector.' (Luke, 18:11)
First, I thank my God... for all of you, because your faith is be-
ing reported all over the world. (Romans, 1:8)
... to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs so that the
Gentiles may glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "There-
fore I will praise You among the Gentiles; I will sing hymns
to Your name." (Romans, 15:8-9)
Grace and peace to you from God... I always thank God for
you because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus. (1 Corinthi-
ans, 1:3-4)
... I am thankful... (1 Corinthians, 1:15)
If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I de-
nounced because of something I thank God for? So whether
