ll the pro phets have very sen si tive
con scien ces, which they use to keep
peo ple on the true path by urg ing them to be good and
avoid evil. By lead ing all peo ple they come in to con tact
with to fol low the right path, the pro phets work for their

sal va tion in the world to come. They want to bring peo ple
to aware ness, hop ing to di rect them to ward the kind of
mor al life that will please Allah. Sometimes, dur ing the
course of this hon or a ble strug gle, pro phets have been
sub ject ed to ac cu sa tions and all kinds of threats
from un be liev ers, hyp o crites, and ido la ters.
But even un der such cir cum stan ces they con -

tin ued to de liv er their mes sage with pa -
tience, good ness, kind ness, and hu mil i ty.
Like all oth er pro phets, our Prophet
(saas) was sub ject ed to phys i cal and
ver bal abuse be cause of the truth of
