The Miracles of our Prophet (saas)

qui si tions. Due to their ar ro gance, they con tin ued to wor ship
their idols and re fused to com pro mise the su per sti tions in
which they be lieved. Instead, they met to geth er to dis cuss how
they could ei ther make our Prophet (saas) give up his re li gion
or kill him:
When the un be liv ers were plot ting to im pris on, kill, or ex -
pel you: they were plot ting and Allah was plan ning, but
Allah is the Best of Planners. (Surat an-Anfal: 30)

In oth er words, the Lord makes things work out for the
best and pro tect ed our Prophet (saas) from all harm: "…their
schem ing will not harm you in any way. Allah en com pass es
what they do" (Surah Al 'Imran: 120).
Allah al so prom ised that no one would do any phys i cal or

spir it u al harm to him:
Were it not for Allah's fa vor to you and His mer cy, a group
of them would al most have man aged to mis lead you. But
they mis lead no one but them selves and do not harm you in
any way. Allah has sent down the Book and Wisdom to you
and taught you what you did not know be fore. Allah's fa -
vor to you is in deed im mense. (Surat an-Nisa': 113)
They are peo ple who lis ten to lies and con sume ill-got ten
gains. If they come to you, ei ther judge be tween them or
turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they
can not harm you in any way. But if you do judge, judge be -
tween them just ly. Allah loves the just. (Surat al-Ma’ida: 42)
The had iths say that his op po nents did their best to per -

suade our Prophet (saas) to aban don pro claim ing his mor al
mes sage. They of fered him what they thought was most val u a -
ble: wealth and sta tus. Allah re lates the fol low ing in the
Qur'an:
