The events taking place
under communist
regimes are a far cry from
the happy, bright pictures
in the posters. Workers
are forced to labor under
the harshest conditions.
They live under the con-
stant threat of death and
can be slaughtered for
the most trivial reasons.
The end for those who
fail to abide by the rules
of the communist regime
is torture or death. Those
who fail to go along with
horrifying working condi-
tions are slaughtered
individually or en masse,
and societies of fear and
terror are produced.
Twentieth-century com-
munist regimes are full of
scenes of such horror.
