26 L LOVE IN THE TORAH

BELIEVERS LOVE GOD

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your strength. (Deuteronomy, 6:5)

For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedi-
ence to Him, and to keep His commands, decrees and laws; then… God will
bless you... (Deuteronomy, 30:16)

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keep-
ing His covenant of love to… those who love Him and keep His com-
mandments. (Deuteronomy, 7:9)

So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today -to love the
Lord your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul-
then I will send rain on your land in its season... (Deuteronomy, 11:13-14)

… “Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, Who
keeps His covenant of love with those who love Him

and keep His commandments…” (Nehemiah, 1:5)
