54 L LOVE IN THE TORAH

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their
stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them;
He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge
in Him. (Psalm, 37:39-40)

I will cry to God Most High, To God Who accomplishes all things for me.
He will send from heaven and save me; He reproaches him who tram-
ples upon me. God will send forth His lovingkindness and His truth.
(Psalm, 57:2-3)

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength,
I sing praise to You; You, God, are my fortress, my God on Whom I can
rely. (Psalm, 59:16-17)

You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to

You…. For great is Your love toward me; You have delivered me from
the depths, from the realm of the dead. (Psalm, 86:5, 13)
Yet I am always with You; You hold me by my right hand. You guide me

with your counsel, and afterward You will take me into glory. (Psalm,
73:23-24)
