50 L LOVE IN THE TORAH
THOSE WHO ARE ATTACHED TO
GOD WITH A PROFOUND LOVE
ARE LOYAL AND DEVOUT
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your
neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win fa-
vor and a good name in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs, 3:3-4)
They would not be like their forefathers—a stubborn and rebellious
generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not
faithful to Him. (Psalm, 78:8)
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord re-
quire of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly
with your God? (Micah, 6:8)
Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy faithfulness.
(Psalm, 37:3)
Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each
other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks
down from Heaven. (Psalm, 85:10-11)
... For they were faithful in consecrating themselves. (2 Chronicles,
31:18)
For He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faith-
ful ones. (Proverbs, 2:8)
All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful for those who keep
the demands of His covenant. (Psalms, 25:10)
